He noted that 18,881 persons have been provided with the lump-sum financial assistance by SSPF and those funds have already been transferred to their plastic cards.
According to him, 1,342 persons are veterans of the Great Patriotic War: “AZN 800 financial assistance has been paid to each of those persons. 17,539 persons belong to category of widows of the died fighters, fighters awarded with medal and orders for their self-sacrificing labour at the rear area. AZN 400 has been transferred to their account”.
Totally, 8.3 mln was allocated for execution of the order and transferred to te plastic cards. They can get these funds by ATMs.
“The SSPF also controls providing service to disabled persons via pos-terminals”, the chairman said.
Mehdiyev noted that the highest figure on assistance for veterans of Great Patriotic War in CIS is in Azerbaijan.
