US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta has met with pilots of the Azerbaijani Air Forces, the US embassy posted on its Twitter page.
Pliots’ services in the defense of Azerbaijan and prospects of strengthening bilateral relations were discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, the embassy’s Facebook page has said “ambassador Cekuta visited the Kurdamir Base today to meet with Ministry of Defense pilots and professionals”.
With the Base Commander, he tested his piloting skills in a flight simulator and learned about a Su-25 aircraft, seeing it from the pilot’s position.
