Hailing the Czech President Miloš Zeman’s visit to Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev touched on the successful development of the bilateral relations between the two countries in many fields. In addition, Aliyev emphasized the increase in the trade turnover and the importance of finding additional opportunities for the expansion of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic.
Ilham Aliyev also highlighted the necessity of expansion of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries stating the successful operation of many Czech companies.
Marta Novakova hailed the significance of Azerbaijan-Czech business forum to be held in Baku. She expressed confidence that this event will contribute to the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The sides also discussed the issues for establishing bilateral cooperation in the industry, infrastructure, car industry, agriculture, and tourism.
