Hassan Rouhani thanks Azerbaijani President

Iran welcomes the developing relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, Rouhani said in his letter.

`Relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are based on friendship and mutual trust`, the letter of the newly elected President of Iran Hassan Rouhani sent in response to a congratulatory letter by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, reads .

Iran welcomes the developing relations between Iran and Azerbaijan, Rouhani said in his letter.

Iran’s newly elected president has expressed confidence in further development of these relations.

The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the newly elected President of Iran Hassan Rouhani on June 16.
