Azerbaijan to invite int`l observes to monitor presidential elections
Azerbaijan is going to invite international observers including those from the OSCE to monitor the upcoming presidential elections.
“Azerbaijan will invite observes from all international organizations. According to norms, the invitation will be sent two months before the elections,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said.

He made the statement on Monday at a joint press conference with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara.

In his turn, Khozara welcomed Azerbaijan`s openness in this issue.

“We welcome openness of Azerbaijan and its intent as an OSCE member to invite observers to monitor the upcoming presidential elections in October,” Khozara added.

Ukrainian minister`s visit to Baku is a part of a regional tip to Azerbaijan and Armenia.
