Turkey prevents series of terrorist attacks
The far-left Revolutionary People`s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C) planned to carry out a series of terrorist attacks in Turkey, however the attempts were prevented by the country
The terrorists planned to carry out attacks in several provinces of Turkey, at the police stations, as well as to assassinate several major businessmen.

Some militants of the terrorist organization underwent the diving courses for attacking the ships in the coastal areas of Turkey.

DHKP-C is responsible for terrorist acts committed in May 2013 in the town of Reyhanli in the Turkish province of Hatay, which killed 46 and injured 155 people.
Members of this group also committed a terrorist attack on the US Embassy in Ankara, which killed a security guard of the embassy and injured one more person.
Two armed men took the Prosecutor Selim Kiraz hostage in the Palace of Justice in Istanbul on March 31. Prosecutor Selim Kiraz, who was taken hostage, was wounded by five bullets during special operation to free him and later died in a hospital.
