Aliyev-Pashinyan meeting eased tension in Karabakh - Sergey Lebedev

The meeting that took place between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan within the framework of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Dushanbe eased the tension in Nagorno Karabakh, said Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev, AzVision.az reports citing Defence.az.

"The Azerbaijani president and Armenian prime minister discussed the issues on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The results are obvious. The tension in the conflict region has been reduced. We hope that the meetings of the two states' leaders will continue and yield positive results for the settlement of the conflict," said the Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee.
