"Presently Azerpambig LLC accounts for 30-35 percent of cotton produced in Azerbaijan. In 2018 sowing was carried out on 29,000 hectares of land and it is planned to harvest 60,000 tons of raw cotton. In 2019, according to the instructions of the president, it is planned to expand the sown areas. In the coming years yields are planned to be increased to 23-25 centners per hectare. This task will be carried out with the involvement of new technologies and highly qualified personnel," Nabizade said.
