The opinions expressed at the 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum give grounds to say that the countries participating in the Forum recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Abulfas Garayev said.

Garayev made the remarks at the Forum in Baku on Oct. 26.

“The first humanitarian forum was held on the initiative of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia,” he added.

"This initiative, having overcome all borders, gained the status of an international event,” the minister said. “This initiative is supported by reputable organizations, most of which today have actively participated in this event."

The minister added that the Baku Process is a step towards the set goals.

"Representatives of almost 90 countries took part in the Forum, which testifies to the fact that Azerbaijan has become a venue where ways of resolving conflicts are discussed," Garayev added.

Held under the slogan “Shaping a New World and a New Humanity: Creativity and Human Development”, the 6th Baku International Humanitarian Forum that kicked off Oct. 25 brings together 581 delegates from 86 countries and 24 international organizations.
