SOCAR: Turkish Stream is not our rival

Turkish Stream is not competing with the South gas corridor projects on supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe.

The statement came from chief of the investments department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Vagif Aliyev.

The Southern Gas corridor and South stream were developed and discussed on par.
These projects are not rivals.

The Russian gas supplies to Europe via the Turkish stream are not rivaling our volumes. Our volumes proposed to be supplied at the end of 2019-early 2020 are out of competition”, Aliyev noted.
