Azerbaijani president honored with International Friendship and Peace Award

Azerbaijani president honored with International Friendship and Peace Award

Turkey`s Specialized Media Reporters Federation has conferred International Friendship and Peace Award upon President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

A ceremony to announce awards was held in Ankara, bringing together members of the Turkish Parliament, politicians, scholars, media representatives, NGO leaders, and foreign ambassadors.

Chairman of the Association Kenan Mecit announced that President Aliyev was honored with International Friendship and Peace Award.

Advisor at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara Jeyhun Zeynalov received the award.

Other recipients of International Friendship and Peace Award are President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
