US to never give up Turkey for sake of Armenian diaspora
The US will never give up Turkey for the sake of Armenian diaspora, Muhammet Zahit Gul, an expert on Turkey
He said if comparing the US relations with Armenia and Turkey, it is possible to see at what level the relations with Ankara stand.

The expert also noted that currently, Armenia’s economy is in poor condition.

“Despite that some circles in the US are interested in the deterioration of Washington’s relations with Ankara, such a thing didn’t happen,” said the expert.

In his annual commemoration statement, the US President Barack Obama did not call the 1915 events "genocide", instead using the term "Meds Yeghern" or "Great Calamity,” a term Armenians use for the relocation of Armenians by the Ottoman Empire due to security concerns during World War I.

Turkey`s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan previously said that he didn`t expect the US President would call the 1915 events as genocide.

Armenia and the Armenian lobby claim that Turkey`s predecessor, the Ottoman Empire allegedly carried out ”genocide” against the Armenians living in Anatolia in 1915. Turkey in turn has always denied "the genocide" took place.

While strengthening the efforts to promote the "genocide" in the world, Armenians have achieved its recognition by the parliaments of some countries.
