In the reported period, the self-employment program covered 7,737 people, he said.
"Of them, 1,029 are representatives of youth, 1,255 are forced migrants, 816 are the people receiving targeted social assistance and 298 are war veterans,” he noted. “Also, the self-employment program covers 1,309 women and 913 people with disabilities.”
The minister noted that as a result of the implementation of projects under the program for 2018, about 7,000 small companies are expected to be created in Azerbaijan, adding that this is a great contribution to the development of small business in the country.
"The scope of this program will be expanded, and in particular, serious support will be provided to vulnerable strata of the population in creating small family farms," Babayev said.
