According to N. Mammadov, the marking of the Canakkale Victory is also a call to peace and reconciliation in the world, which is undergoing hardship.
On April 24, Turkey hosted an international event to mark the 100th centenary of the Canakkale Victory. The event was joined by 21 heads of state, officials from more than 70 countries, and representatives of international organizations. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also attended the event.
