Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Defense Minister, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Colonel General Najmeddin Sadikov attended a meeting of the NATO Military Committee held at NATO Headquarters within the format of the “Resolute Support Mission,” the Defense Ministry said on Jan. 16.
The meeting participants discussed the operational conditions of the NATO-led “Resolute Support” mission launched to train, advise and assist the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF), as well as regional security issues. Moreover, views and recommendations for 2019 and subsequent periods were heard during the meeting.
