Today, the Center for Reforms and Public Health of Azerbaijan Health Ministry held a meeting dedicated to the presentation of mobile application" Give up smoking "and the improvement of legislation on combating smoking in Azerbaijan.
Director of the Center Gahraman Akhverdiyev said that the event was aimed at focusing the public’s attention on the dangerous consequences caused by smoking and on expanding the awareness on that topic.
"The main goal is to ensure a ten percent reduction in tobacco consumption in Azerbaijan by 2020," said Akhverdiyev.
