Days of Azerbaijani culture broadly covered in French media
Days of Azerbaijani culture have been held in Cannes, France.
The French press widely covered the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan, which took place with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Paris and 16 other cities and regions of France.

Azerbaijani culture was promoted on the Riviera, which stretches from the town of Toulon to the Italian border.

Events organized in the framework of the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan were covered in famous publication as Le Figaro, Diapason, Nice-Matin, Le Cannois, BeauxArts, as well as many regional TV channels and radio stations.

Covering the theme of Azerbaijan`s participation in the international festival of "Art of pyrotechnics", Nice-Matin, in particular, wrote: "For viewers who wanted to see the fireworks, there was a sufficient space both on shore and on the Boulevard de la Croisette. The audience was delighted. And it`s all thanks to Azerbaijan. In organizing the spectacle this Caucasian country took advantage of all the features, including the effects, and various pyrotechnics. And the bright ending of the show filled the whole sky of the Cannes”.

In turn, Le Cannois notes that the posters on Azerbaijan could not go unnoticed: "The posters are exhibited in Cannes as part of the Heydar Aliyev Foundations-" The Caucasian pearls ", aimed at informing the citizens and visitors of the city with the characteristics of the Azerbaijani culture . Heydar Aliyev Foundation was in search of a French city, which would be most worthy for presenting the Azerbaijani culture and chose the Cannes for this purpose”.

Finally, the renowned magazine Diapason highlighted the theme of mugam and musical rhythms of Azerbaijan.

The publication writes that during July Cannes hosted numerous delegations that represent the cultural heritage of the country, which is considered the pearl of the Caucasus.

Music, rhythms, jazz, modern art, photography, sculpture and more have been included in the scope of the Days of Culture of Azerbaijan, the magazine notes.
