Talking about the high level of political relations between the two countries, President Ilham Aliyev stated that high-level visits provide good opportunities for exchange of views on various spheres of cooperation. The Head of the State also noted that inter-parliamentary relations contribute to the development of bilateral relations as well. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the Brazilian delegation to Azerbaijan and underlined the importance of cooperation in economic, investment, tourism, culture, agriculture, aviation and other spheres.
President of the Chamber of Deputies of National Congress of the Federative Republic of Brazil Rodrigo Maia thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the reception. In his turn, Rodrigo Maya noted that mutual high-level visits play an important role in the development of our cooperation. He said that there is great potential for developing cooperation between the two countries in various areas and boosting trade turnover.
During the meeting, thse sides highlighted the importance of cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.
