Azerbaijan has no intention to resume gasoline export
Azerbaijan won
The gasoline demand in Azerbaijan nears 1.4 million liters per year, David Mammadov, the vice-president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan for refining told reporters May 13.

Azerbaijan will not export gasoline as before, said Mammadov. “It is not so beneficial for us firstly, due to the quality of the gasoline. Second, it is easier to meet the country’s demand this way – we have sufficiently high domestic price so as not to refine additional volumes of oil that can be exported.”

Azerbaijan suspended gasoline export starting from 2014 in order to meet the domestic demand.

Moreover, all the production is directed towards producing AI-92 gasoline. This is while AI-95 and AI-98 gasoline are imported to the country.
