US ambassador hosts Iftar dinner in connection with the Holy Ramadan
At the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan was hosted Iftar in connection with the month of Ramadan.
Ambassador welcomed guests and read celebration of Barack Obama to all Muslims on Ramadan.


U.S ambassador said that one of the wonderful things about Azerbaijan is mutual respect that there is among all the religious communities and all ethnic communities.

"I want to remind once again that Azerbaijan has the history of mutual respect between religions and communities here. We celebrate that tonight," Morningstar said.

He said he joins President Obama`s wishes to all of the Muslims.

Addressing the event, Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade said that Azerbaijan is known in the world as a tolerant country.

"Throughout the history tolerance existing in Azerbaijan created conditions to Jews, Christians and Muslims to live together, and it has to be a model for the world" he said.

The event was attended by the ambassadors of many countries, the public, heads of media outlets and MPs.
