The document was signed by Elmir Valizade, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, and Xu Yahua, Director of the Transportation Services Department of the Chinese Ministry of Transport.
The protocol provides for promotion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in freight transportation via the East-West Transport Corridor, allocation of subsidies by Chinese provinces for container transportation through the Central Corridor, as well as acceleration of the measures necessary for the signing of the draft agreements on international automobile transportation and combined shipping between Azerbaijan and China.
