Azerbaijani parliament will host the 9th Plenary Session of TURKPA (Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries) on December 18, AzVision.az reports citing Milli Majlis.
Before the session, the assembly will hold a meeting and the chairmanship will be passed to Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan from Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
Parliamentary delegations of member countries, Turkish cooperation organizations and representations of international organizations will attend the event.
Reports and recommendations of permanent commissions of TURKPA, approval of model decisions, report of Turkic Council International Observer Mission on early presidential elections in Kazakhstan and adoption of legal documents of organization will be on agenda of the plenary session.
Baku Declaration will also be adopted at the plenary session.
