 Azerbaijan records 104 more coronavirus cases and one death

One hundred four more tested positive for coronavirus and one person died of coronavirus in Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports citing the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

71-year-old coronavirus patient, who had a medical history of diabetes and cancer, died at a hospital in Azerbaijan who tested positive for the COVID-19. Resuscitation measures to stabilize the patient's condition gave no result. Currently, family members and other persons who contacted with the patient are being identified and quarantined.

Currently, 926 people with active phase of coronavirus are in special hospitals under the supervision of doctors in the country. The condition of twenty-seven of them is severe, the condition of thirty-five patients is evaluated as moderately severe, and the health condition of others is stable. 101 of them discharged from the hospitals and 9 died. The necessary measures are underway for the medical treatment of the patients.

Everyone must thoroughly observe the rules of hygiene, strictly adhere to the requirements and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers to prevent the spread of coronavirus, said the headquarters.

Citizens must adhere to self-isolation measures. People must not leave houses unless absolutely necessary. It is also imperative to contactless with other people and not to visit crowded places.
