 Azerbaijan starts reconstruction of roads in liberated Sugovushan and Talish villages

With the relevant instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, tate Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads has started the reconstruction of roads to Sugovushan and Talish villages of Terter region, which were liberated from Armenian occupation as a result of successful counter-offensive operations by the Azerbaijani Army.

The length of 29 km of roads is being restored in accordance with the 4th technical degree. Roads leading to Sugovushan and Talish villages of Terter region were completely destroyed due to long-term Armenian occupation. Currently, all relevant measures are being taken for restoration of roads. 

Note, the roads leading to Sugovushan and Talish villages were built in the 1970s with the instructions of national leader Heydar Aliyev in connection with the construction of the Sugovushan reservoir. Currently, large-scale construction work is underway to restore the historic road to the liberated settlements.
