Gazprom cancels contract on construction of Turkish stream
Gazprom has terminated the contract with Italy`s Saipem on construction of the first section of the offshore Turkish stream gas pipeline.
"This decision is dictated by the impossibility to reach the agreement on most business and commercial issues of implementation of the Turkish stream project", the statement says. Other works on the project continue. In addition, South Stream Transport B.V. will soon start negotiations with potential contractors on the construction of the first section of the Turkish stream project.

Saipem was to start works on shallow-water Black sra on construction of Turkish stream in the first decade of June.

Earlier it was reported that Gazprom plans to complete the first section of offshore part of Turkish stream by the end of 2016.
