  Russian peacekeepers continue demining territory of Nagorno-Karabakh 

Specialists of the Russian contingent of the peacekeeping forces continue to work on demining the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, AzVision.az reports citing the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

In total, during demining in Nagorno-Karabakh, 479, 2 km hectares of territory, 182, 8 km of roads, 710 housing buildings and 22 socially significant objects were cleared, more than 23, 000 explosive objects were discovered and neutralized.

Detected explosive objects, abandoned or non-exploded ammunition are taken to a specially equipped landfill and destroyed. Ammunition that cannot be evacuated is destroyed on the spot with the necessary security measures in place.
