The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will carry out the work to assess the damage caused to the cultural monuments of Azerbaijan as a result of the Armenian aggression, said OIC Contact Group Assistant Secretary-General in charge of Economic Affairs Ahmad Kawesa Sengendo, AzVision.az reports.
Permanent representatives of the OIC Contact Group on the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan on Thursday held a press conference in Baku on the outcomes of their trips to Azerbaijan’s Aghdam and Ganja cities.
Speaking at the press conference, Sengendo noted that big damage has been inflicted on Azerbaijan’s cultural monuments.
“The OIC must convey this information to the world community and carry out the work to assess the damage,” he added.
