Those who have not seen Shusha cannot understand how difficult the second Karabakh war was, and the victory achieved in 44 days demanded great heroism, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci wrote on his Twitter page.
The diplomat said he is visiting Shusha in preparation for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s trip.
Erdogan is scheduled to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on June 15-16. During the visit, the Turkish leader will go to the liberated Shusha city, where he will hold bilateral talks with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to discuss all aspects of Ankara-Baku ties and opportunities for further deepening bilateral cooperation.
