Within the framework of measures for social support of family members of martyrs and participants of Azerbaijan’s Patriotic War, some 33,000 people have already been provided with social support and more than 40,000 services, the country’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population told AzVision.az.
Over the past year, 15,700 social benefits (monthly presidential pensions or allowances) have been assigned to 7,900 of the family members of the Patriotic War martyrs. As many as 2,165 war veterans have been provided with disability payments and corresponding social benefits.
Along with this, in the post-war period, martyr families, war veterans, and people who suffered from the Armenian terror and their family members received lump-sum payments and food aid.
