Latvia’s ex-president says he was greatly saddened by destruction in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli

Latvia’s ex-president says he was greatly saddened by destruction in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli

“I was greatly saddened when I saw the ruins in Fuzuli,” former Latvian President Valdis Zatlers said during his visit to Shusha on Sunday, AzVision.az reports.

Zatlers noted that he had visited many countries destroyed after the war, and the ruins of Karabakh reminded him of them.

The former Latvian president also highly appreciated the ongoing restoration work in Karabakh.
