Earlier, the Azerbaijani and Turkish leaders proposed a 3+3 regional cooperation format, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Armenia and Georgia.
Pashinyan noted that Armenia’s stance remains unchanged. “Yerevan may be interested in the 3+3 format if the agenda does not include issues that are already being discussed in other formats.”
“We discussed this issue with our colleagues, in particular with Moscow. There signals that Moscow shares this opinion,” the Armenian PM added.
Pashinyan said the relevant working group will hold the first meeting in the 3+3 or, possibly, 3+2 format on December 10. “Armenia will join the meeting at the level of deputy foreign minister since this is the level at which this meeting is envisaged,” he concluded.
