"We are not talking about the next couple of days," he noted to Sud Radio. "The republic’s president cannot make symbolic visits. He will go to Ukraine when it will be useful," the top official explained. He reiterated that France was providing military and humanitarian support to Ukraine.
In early February, Macron visited Moscow for talks with Russia’s leader Vladimir Putin and visited Kiev the next day. Macron and Putin regularly hold phone conversations. The French leader also maintains contact with Zelensky.
