The sides discussed investment projects that are planned to be implemented in Azerbaijan’s renewable energy sphere, the possibility of cooperation in the production and export of electricity, and natural gas and in the energy efficiency sphere.
The sides regarded the construction of Garadagh Solar Power Plant in Azerbaijan as a contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries and the beginning of “green energy” cooperation.
The sides also discussed the current situation in the world energy markets and issues arising from cooperation in the OPEC+ format, during the meeting.
