Azerbaijan's renewable energy sources (RES) capacities, including hydropower, amount to 1,312 megawatts, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on Twitter, AzVision.az reports.
“Implementation of wind, solar and hydro power plants projects with a capacity of 1,000 megawatts and new projects of 4 gigawatts in coming years will strengthen the position of green energy in country’s energy balance,” Shahbazov said.
