Kyrgyzstan takes over TURKPA chairmanship from Kazakhstan

The meeting of the Council and 11th plenary session of Turkic Parliamentary Assembly started in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.

Kyrgyzstan has taken over Turkic Parliamentary Assembly chairmanship from Kazakhstan.

The delegations of TurkPA members states traveled to Kyrgyzstan to attend the events. The parliamentary delegations of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan arrived. Hungary has observer status in the Organization. Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are attending the event as guests of honor.

The plenary session of Turkic Parliamentary Assembly will follow after the meeting of TurkPA Council.
