“During the mine-clearing operations in Kalbajar, Tartar, Khojaly, Aghdam, Khojavand, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 578 anti-personnel and 105 anti-tank mines, as well as 1,028 unexploded ordnances (UXOs) were found and neutralized from July 1 to 31,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“As a result, 6,903,27 hectares have been cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
