Turkic nations must cooperate with each other in 21st century
The Turkic nations must cooperate with each other in the 21st century, stated President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev at a solemn meeting devoted to the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate at the Palace of Independence, Kazinform reported.
"The peoples of independent Turkic countries, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and more than 200 million representatives of the Turkic peoples are around the world,” the president said.

He stressed that the Turkic nations were created to be together and to maintain unity.

“Unity being the source of all victories,” Nazarbayev said. “It gives strength to protect the Motherland. This should be always remembered. The Turkic peoples, separated by fate, but having a common language, traditions, faith and origin, must cooperate with each other in the 21st century. The history of our ancestors calls for this.”
