“France expelled us from the areas where we lived for thousands of years. French colonialism continues today. At the moment when we are having discussions in Baku, human lives are under threat,” he said.
Luke Francis Carroll also thanked the state of Azerbaijan for supporting their voices to be heard.
“I thank Azerbaijan for its efforts. We have the opportunity to talk about neo-colonialism in Africa these days. We have to say that we were expelled by France from the territories we inhabited for thousands of years. Millions of people were deported to South and North America. The poorest people in the Americas today are those who came from Africa. Because they were deported to America. The French state does not want to deal with the solution of our problem,” he added.
