Noting that Türkiye is located at the center of a region riddled with disputes and contradictions, Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler stressed the importance of being prepared to face potential risks and threats. He highlighted Recep Tayyip Erdogan's contributions to addressing crises and conflicts.
The minister mentioned that modern Türkiye, under the leadership of President Erdogan, continues to make significant efforts toward peace.
"We have attempted to resolve problems in Karabakh, Libya, the Ukrainian-Russian war, the Middle East, and many other regions, taking worthwhile measures in this regard and continuing to do so," the minister underlined.
Emphasizing Türkiye's role as a global participant and active contributor to the global security framework, Yasar Guler underscored Türkiye's strong support for peace and security in international negotiations. The Turkish defense minister also highlighted the Turkish Army's successful counter-terrorism operations carried out in recent years.
