Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met Friday with Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development.
Minister Mikayil Jabbarov hailed the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, noting that interaction between the two countries’ business circles are expanding. The minister highlighted the importance of the projects implemented in Azerbaijan with the Fund’s support.
Jabbarov noted the possibility of investing in the priority areas of the economy, including industry, energy and agriculture, as well as the participation of Saudi Arabian investors in the reconstruction of Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation.
Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad expressed his confidence that the efforts to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, as well as discussions held in this regard would contribute to the further development of economic and trade relations.
