U.S. going to reduce financial aid to Azerbaijan
The amount of financial aid to be allocated to Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia in 2015 has been made public.
The U.S. Department of State has presented the congressional budget justification envisaging financial aid to a number of countries in 2015 and the implementation of programs in these countries. The U.S. will again reduce the assistance to Azerbaijan in 2015.

Though the U.S. assistance to Azerbaijan was $16 million in 2013, it will drop to $15.5m in 2014 and will be $12.7m in 2015.

$9.6m of these funds will be allocated for economic support fund, $800 000 for international narcotic control and law enforcement bodies, $600 000 for international military education and training and $1.7m for foreign military financing.

In 2015, the U.S. will allocate $24.7m to Armenia, $53.5m to Georgia.
