Turkey may reduce internet prices
Turkey may reduce the prices for internet services, Milliyet newspaper quoted Turkish Transport, Maritime and Communication Minister, Lutfi Elvan as saying on May 21.
The minister said it is expected that the internet prices will be first reduced for corporate users.

He went on to add that the prices for internet may be decreased in the near future, but he did not elaborate on the time and amount of reduction.

Over 34 million people used internet in Turkey in 2013, while 25.4 million people enjoyed the mobile internet services during this period, according to the Turkish Transport, Maritime and Communication Ministry.

There are 12 internet providers in Turkey.
20 Mbps unlimited internet costs 50 liras (slightly over $23) in Turkey.
