According to her, society is unaware of the truth behind the Nagorno-Karabakh and Transdniestrian conflicts.
“The conflicts get extended as the events that happened in Karabakh, the Transdniestrian region and now in Ukraine were not assessed in time. Of course, it’s too difficult to give legal assessment to a conflict. Because the criminals during the Karabakh War have remained unpunished. Europe must take a careful approach toward these matters and help find a solution to these problems. Peace is impossible in Europe unless the conflicts are resolved. Europe must get rid of these conflicts by peaceful means”, she said.
The Moldovan ombudsman also said she loves Azerbaijan very much: “Azerbaijan is my heart. I do love this country and the Azerbaijani people”.
