Turkey demands Russia increase discount on natural gas
Turkey demands that Russia increase its discount on gas supplied to the country, said the Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu, the channel TRT Haber reported Dec.2.
After Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Turkey would receive a 6 percent discount on Russian natural gas to be supplied since January 2015, Ankara demanded an increase in the discount, because a 6 percent discount is not enough for Turkey, Davutoglu said.

Ankara hopes that the Russian side, taking into account the needs of Turkey in natural gas, will make an additional discount, the prime minister said.

On Dec.2, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Turkey would receive a 6 percent discount on Russian natural gas to be supplied as of January 2015 during a press conference held after the meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
