Moroccan media reveals several facts about 3 Armenians` plan of smuggling highly enriched uranium by bringing it to the Middle East and selling to terrorist groups, AzVision.az reports citing Axar.az.

The local media highlights the fact that smugglers have been workers of the Metsamor NPP. Furthermore, the Metsamor NPP poses danger not only to the region but also to the world.

According to the most read newspaper of the country, ` Al- Islah and Et- Tenmiye, there is a high possibility that people who worked in Metsamor NPP have hidden transaction with terrorist groups in Middle East. The article states: Armenian and Armenian Special Service Bodies were arrested for smuggling of radioactive material in different countries of the region and other similar crime facts also exist. The smuggling group, which was arrested in Georgia one month ago aimed to deliver highly enriched uranium and cesium to illegal groups in the Middle East and sell them secretly which cost million dollars in black market. Newspaper acknowledges their previous links with Metsamor NPP.

Reputable news portal `Agora` also underlined the issue. The portal states, materials of Metsamor NPP which is in case of accident may be brought to Armenian occupied Nagorno- Karabakh territories and create poisonous sources distributing radioactivity. Armenia remains hazardous to regional nuclear security. The author shared different sources in English and Arabic which designate well-grounded facts on the illegal sale of nuclear and radioactive materials by Armenians at various times.
