Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping sharply increases tax debt
In 2015, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC transferred AZN 25,007,400 to the state budget, up AZN 24,908,600 from 2013, AZN 17,955,500 from 2014.
According to the Chamber, the CJSC’s debt to the state budget fell AZN 147,300 or 72.7% to AZN 55,200, extra payments decreased AZN 572,100 or 7.8% to AZN 6,783,800.

This was due to the fact that the freightage declined 33% to 6.6 mln tonnes, passenger transportation fell 43.6% to 8,400 people, cargo turnover made 3.3 mln passenger/km, one of three passenger ships was launched on water, three ships were launched on Black and Mediterranean Seas within the extension of activity in the international waters. At the same time, the price index of passenger transportation service via maritime transport made 139.6% in 2015.
