WTI crude exceeds $50

WTI crude exceeds $50

The WTI crude oil (NYMEX) rose $0.55 to $50.11 a barrel.

Brent crude went up $0.65 to close at $50.39 a barrel.

Thus, the WTI crude exceeded $50 for the first time since October 12, 2015.

Oil prices up as US commercial crude oil inventories decreased.
