Monthly inflation in Azerbaijan hits 1.3%
Prices for consumer goods and tariffs for services in Azerbaijan increased by 1.3 percent in October as compared to September, said the country’s State Statistics Committee Nov. 14.
The committee said the prices for foodstuff increased by 2.3 percent in October 2016 as compared to September 2016, while the prices for non-food goods increased by 1.1 percent, and the cost of paid services rose by 0.2 percent.

Prices for consumer goods and tariffs for services increased by 11.6 percent in Azerbaijan in January-October 2016 compared to the same period of 2015.

Prices for foodstuff increased by 13.4 percent, the non-food goods’ prices rose by 16.3 percent, and the cost of paid services went up by 5.4 percent in the mentioned period.
