Azerbaijan’s non-oil GDP up in early 2017
Azerbaijan’s GDP was 10.04 billion manats in January-February 2017, that is, 0.4 percent more than in the same period of 2016, according to the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The non-oil GDP reached 5.7 billion manats and its share in Azerbaijan’s GDP was 56.8 percent in January-February 2017.

The non-oil GDP increased by 2.3 percent over the year.

Value-added production in oil and gas extraction and refining was 43.2 percent of the GDP, that is, 4.3 billion manats.

GDP per capita reached almost 1.04 billion manats.

During the reporting period, 46.7 percent (4.7 billion manats) of Azerbaijan’s GDP accounted for industry, 7.6 percent (763.2 million manats) for construction, 2.7 percent (271.15 million manats) for agriculture, forestry and fishery.

Net taxes on production and import accounted for 6.5 percent of Azerbaijan’s GDP.

According to the report, 9.6 percent of the services GDP (964.1 million manats) accounted for vehicle trade and repair, 6.7 percent (672.85 million manats) for transportation and warehousing, 2.7 percent (271.15 million manats) for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.7 percent (170.72 million manats) for information and communication services, and 15.8 percent (1.6 billion manats) for other services.
