Hubble Telescope Captures Rare Image of Jupiter"s Moons in Transit - VIDEO, PHOTOS
Jupiter’s moons are often seen one at a time, casting a shadow across Jupiter’s thick gaseous exterior, but on January 23, the Hubble telescope was able to get footage of the view of three, Europa, Callisto, and Io in the same frame.
NASA was able to capture the rare images of the three moons Europa, Io, and Callisto
Jupiter has the most moons of any planet in our solar system at 50 (with 17 other observed satellites still awaiting confirmation).

NASA is currently seeking $30 million to plan a mission to Europa, which scientists believe may have a “habitable zone” and could harbor some form of life.
Jupiter, and it`s two moons Europa and Ganymede. With Ganymede`s discovery in 1610, Galileo Galilei was able to challenge the Catholic Church`s geocentric (Earth-centered) view of the universe.
Europa could have twice as much water as the Earth, and scientists believe that if Earth can sustain life in its harshest environments, Europa may be able to as well.
